It feels like everyone these days appreciates a nice glass of wine after a long, stressful day of… well, whatever it is you do.
But, summer is here, and it’s time to step out of our comfort zone and try something light and new:
Sangria!
Okay, it’s still wine. But, we’ve freshened it up with some delicious, wine-soaked berries, pomegranate juice and a few sprigs of mint.
As with all great drinks, the glass you serve it in is super important.  For sangria, we like astemless red. The larger bowl let’s the wine’s aromas circulate. It’s also perfect for holding all that wine-drenched fruit. Mmmm.
Here’s our recipe:
  • 1 bottle of a sweet red wine
  • 2 cups of Pomegranate liqueur
  • 1 orange sliced into half circles
  • 1 quart of strawberries quartered
  • 1 quart of blackberries quartered
  • 1 package of fresh mint
We personalized our glass with “Wine a bit, you’ll feel better.” But here’s some other great suggestions: monograms, favorite song lyrics, memorable quotes, and more! Have fun with it and let your creativity run wild!
We served our sangria with cubed manchego, craisins and fresh almonds on our Wine Bottle Cutting Board which can also be personalized!
For those of you getting ready for outdoor entertaining, we also have a lovely set of acrylic drinkware and pitchers.  They’re perfect for your less-than-graceful guests.
